Andrew L. Foret, M.D. is from Lake Charles and earned his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, and his Medical Degree from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a residency in general surgery at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, and a fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Dr. Foret is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery (ABS), and is the only surgeon in Southwest Louisiana to earn the added qualifications of Certification in Surgery of the Hand from the ABS.

Dr. Foret has published numerous scientific articles related to hand surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Andrew Foret joined the Center For Orthopaedics group in 2011.
