Enrique A. Mendez, MD, FACP, FACR, is a board certified physician in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.  Dr. Mendez has been practicing medicine in the Lake Area since 2001, treating patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematous, and a wide range of other rheumatology related disorders.

Dr. Mendez is an active member of several state and national organizations including: Louisiana State Medical Society, Louisiana Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation, American College of Rheumatology and the American College of Physicians. He has published numerous scientific articles related to Rheumatology, and has been a member of Speaker Bureau’s for some top pharmaceutical companies throughout his career. In addition, Dr. Mendez has also participated in some industry sponsored clinical trials in Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, and Lupus.
